Two world-class water parks. One visit. Here's which is right for you. Cartoon Network Amazone for families, Ramayana for adults and thrill-seekers.
Located on the Jomtien side (approximately 10km from central Pattaya), Cartoon Network Amazone is themed with licensed Adventure Time, We Bare Bears, and other Cartoon Network characters. It's specifically designed for families with children. The park features a wave pool, lazy river, and medium-difficulty slides. Food options are good, though prices are premium. Admission ranges from 700–1,000 THB for adults and 500–700 THB for children, varying by age and season.
The park is smaller than Ramayana but offers a more curated family experience. The theming is excellent for children who recognize the characters. Most slides are included in admission. The water quality is good. Weekday visits see far fewer crowds than weekends.
Ramayana is billed as one of Southeast Asia's largest water parks and features some of the tallest slides in the region. Admission is 800–1,200 THB. The park is focused on thrill rides and is better suited for older children, teens, and adults. It has an excellent wave pool, massive lazy river, and the extreme slides that make it famous. Fast-pass (VIP queue skip) available for premium pricing. The park is significantly larger than Amazone with more attractions and generally longer lines.
Weekday visits are strongly recommended to avoid crowds. December–February is peak season with perfect weather but maximum crowds. The park opening time is typically 10AM; arriving early beats midday heat and queue buildup.
