Last of the dry season comfort, rising heat and full high season nightlife — March is one of Pattaya's most underrated months.
March sits at the transition between dry cool season and hot season. Temperatures are rising (27-33°C) but rain is still minimal. The beaches are good, Koh Larn is excellent, and the nightlife runs at full capacity. Hotel prices are lower than December/January peak but still in high season territory. Good-value month for experienced Pattaya visitors.
The month breaks into distinct phases: early March is dry and 27-30°C (excellent), mid March warms to 29-33°C (still good), and late March gets hot at 31-34°C with first hints of humidity but still beach-appropriate before nightfall.

Walking Street operates at full capacity in March. No seasonal slowdown yet — it's still high season atmosphere. Crowds on the strip are heavy 11PM-2AM. Bars are open, girls are out, music is pumping. Late March feels slightly warmer (literally and vibe-wise) as Songkran anticipation builds.
Early March has typical high-season energy. Mid-March starts showing signs of seasonal anticipation. Late March has that pre-festival buzz — more Thais on the street preparing for Songkran, water buckets appearing, general excitement building.
